Traveling 15,000+ plus miles across the United States and Canada since graduating from college last summer has taught me a lot. I got to see the California Coast AND the British Columbia mountains in the same couple of months. Places I had once dreamed of seeing in person. With school behind me, some loot in my pocket and a keen eye set on seeing the wonders of the world... things started to happen just as I had once imagined. Without the obligations of school, a nine-to-five job and all of the other baggage that comes along in our early twenties... I got a taste of FREEDOM for the first time in a long time and that was all I needed. It is so easy to say you want to do things and see places in the world, but to actually commit and follow through is the actual journey. Take a chance on living, you only get one.
Through new experiences, one discovers themselves. And 15,000 miles later l feel as if I have only just begun this incredible journey of self-discovery.
For the first time in a year I am staying under the same roof for the better part of a year. I am residing in southern California and loving it. Working steadily in the film/television industry and longobarding with my friends. The beach and the mountains are my solitude here & they are the most welcoming hosts of all. Somewhere between the mountains, the waves and the gnarly canyon roads I believe to have found a slice of the good life.
